Hi, I’m Mara.

Yoga teacher and postpartum doula supporting people through movement, transition, and embodied care.

I've always been drawn to caring for others and supporting people through times of growth and transition.

Long before I became a yoga teacher, I worked as a childcare professional, specializing in infant care and supporting families during the earliest stages of parenthood. Those years taught me not only the practical aspects of caring for babies, but also the profound importance of nurturing and supporting the entire family during times of change.

Later, my path led me to yoga, where I discovered the transformative power of movement, breath, and embodied awareness. Through yoga, I found practices that helped people reconnect with themselves, regulate their nervous systems, and move through life's transitions with greater steadiness and compassion.

Over time, it became clear to me that these two passions—supporting families and supporting people in their bodies—were deeply connected.

As both a mother and a yoga teacher, I've experienced firsthand the ways pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenthood ask us to continually adapt, soften, strengthen, and begin again. I've also witnessed how often families are expected to navigate these enormous transitions without enough consistent, compassionate support.

Bliss Body Collective was born from the belief that care should feel continuous, embodied, and deeply human.

Today, I bring together my background in infant and family care together with yoga to offer grounded support for people through all stages of life. My work is rooted in nervous system support, presence, and the belief that we are never on this journey alone.

My philosophy

I believe that support should feel continuous, embodied, and deeply human.

Whether someone comes to me through yoga, postpartum care, or Reiki, my intention is always the same: to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and more connected to themselves.

Life asks us to move through countless transitions—some joyful, some challenging, many both at once. During these seasons, we don't need to be fixed. We need support, community, and practices that help us reconnect with our own inner steadiness.

My work is grounded in the belief that healing and growth happen when we feel safe enough to soften, supported enough to rest, and empowered enough to trust ourselves.
